The Village Administrator has released this statement:Pursuant to Governor Evers’ Safer at Home Order, the Village of Winneconne offices are closed EXCEPT for in-person absentee voting. Please be prepared to show ID.However, we encourage voters to request an absentee ballot through the My Vote Wisconsin website myvote.wi.gov. If you need to register to vole, online voter registration has been extended until March 30,2020, and you can register at the website listed above.Dog license renewals must be submitted by March 31,2020. To renew your dog’s license, please put proof of rabies vaccine and a check made payable to “Village of Winneconne” ($10 per dog if spayed/neutered and $20 per dog if not spayed/neutered) in an envelope and deposit in the drop box in the parking lot on the west-side of the Village Hall.The Village compost site will not open until Governor Evers allows non-essential government functions to resume.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
