Spirit of Giving
The annual Christmas Crusade organized by the Winneconne Police Department is an event the community has shared in the past several years since it was started by Winneconne Police Chief Running. Each year there's a Christmas tree in the Village Municipal Building filled with ornaments with wishes from local children.
- Each ornament will include one (1) gift suggestion.
- Each sponsored child will have several ornaments on the tree.
- Sizes are included for any apparel/footwear suggestions.
- Gifts may be wrapped or unwrapped, but please remember to attach the tag chosen from the tree to your gift. This helps ensure the gift(s) carefully chosen are delivered to the correct child!
- Gifts are turned in to the police office by a specified date each year. Check back later for more information on the 2026 season.
- Gift wrap (longer rolls are greatly appreciated for bulky items)
- Gift boxes for clothing, coats and bundles of socks
- Gift bags (any size)
- Refill rolls of tape (regular and packaging tape are appreciated)
- Sticker-style gift tags
