President's Message

On behalf of the Village of Winneconne Board of Trustees, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our community. Whether you are new to the area or a lifelong resident like myself, Winneconne is a place many are proud to call home. It offers an exceptional quality of life, combining natural beauty, a strong sense of community, and a welcoming environment ideal for families.

We take pride in our excellent schools, full-service local government, growing industrial base, and locally owned small businesses, as well as our outstanding parks system. Conveniently located just minutes from State Highways 45 and 41, the Village provides both accessibility and small-town charm. Our downtown is recognized for its unique shopping and vibrant dining options.

The Wolf River runs through the heart of the Village, with Lake Winneconne and Lake Butte des Morts bordering its north and south ends. These waterways are well known for excellent fishing, particularly for walleye and white bass. With more than 100 acres of parks and open space, Winneconne offers abundant recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
