INFORMATIVE NOTICE AS TO PUBLIC RECORDS
This notice is given in conformance with the State of Wisconsin’s declared policy that all persons are entitled to the greatest possible information regarding affairs of government and official acts of officers and employees and pursuant to the provisions of §19.34 (1).
Time and Place Records are Available
Except as prohibited by law, all records relating to the operation of the above organization are available for review and/or copying at the Village Hall located at 30 South 1st Street, Winneconne, WI 54986.
How to Get Access and Obtain Information
If you desire access or copies of any public records, please direct such a request to the Village of Winneconne’s Clerk’s office at clerk@winneconnewi.gov or (920) 582-4381. Access to records regarding police matters should be directed to PDclerk@winneconnewi.gov.
Costs Involved
Cost of Inspection – No cost will be charged for inspection of available public records.
Record Location – Where records are not readily accessible, a charge for actual and direct cost of locating the requested records will be made. The rate for an actual, necessary, and direct charge for staff time will be based on the pay rate of the lowest paid employee capable of performing the task.
Cost of Copies – Copies of records will be made at the following cost: Individual copies of documents shall cost $.05 each and $0.10 each for color copies.
